FOSS Asia Summit 2010

One of the top Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) events for developers, enterprises, officials and general users in South East Asia.

FOSSASIA is one of the top Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) events for developers, enterprises, officials and general users in South East Asia. It will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from November 12 – 14, 2010 with the focus: Lightweight Computing and Women in IT. FOSSASIA will be co-hosted with the OpenTechSummit 2010 for Open Hardware. Participants from across Asia and the world are expected to join the three day event. Please join us.

The event will cover three summits in one:

Community Summit

Business Summit

OpenTechSummit (Open Hardware)

What can I learn at the event?

Learn more about FOSS, applications and new mobile solutions

Discover new business opportunities with faster energy saving
solutions that help you to lower costs.

Take part in a FOSS course and get a course certificate during the
event.

Participate in the install fest of new programs and make your
computer faster and more secure.

Meet us at the FOSS party and celebrate the fun of getting together
with people from all over the world.

Learn about job opportunities with global and local companies and
get in touch with representatives.

The event brings together free and open source software projects from
Asia and around the world. Following the successful GNOME.Asia Summit
2009 in Ho Chi Minh City (1400 participants) the event will explore the
future of FOSS community in Asia and offer insights into new ideas and
opportunities with Free and Open Source Software.

During the three day event there will be a variety of presentations,
workshops, business matchmakings and a FOSS course, where successful
participants will receive a certificate.

Companies will have the opportunity to present themselves, meet
highly trained students and developers and engage in matchmaking with
international and local projects and enterprises.
