About

FOSS.my is a FOSS community event based on http://linux.conf.au and http://FOSS.in. This is our first go at it, so we will start small like the others and learn from this one.

It's accessible:

• It's on Saturday and Students so working people and students can attend
• It's easily accessible for those without cars
  

It's non-commercial:

• No talks by vendors trying to sell products and services (marketing stuff). Instead vendors are encouraged to talk about the technical aspects of their projects, tools they use etc.

It's for knowledge sharing and FOSS development:

• A variety of different sessions
• Talks, Lightning Talks
